Montreal has always been known as a city that loves its warm beverages and whether it’s teas or coffees, FlightHub Review is determined to tell you where to grab your next cup. We’ve searched high and low for the best places in Montreal, and FlightHub proudly presents our top three picks for Montreal’s best tea houses.

Le Parloire

Located in the always trendy arrondissement Le Plateau area, this beautiful and quaint tea shop is the perfect stop for afternoon tea with friends. Le Parloir is located on avenue Christophe-Colomb, just below Rachel and is nestled between residential homes, giving it a quiet and peaceful vibe. FlightHub was instantly enamored with the décor; sprinkled with beautiful and unique tea cups (some you’d probably find in boutique stores in like 1861), the tearoom boasts a full menu à la carte or the option for a full-service meal for two at $30. At these prices, FlightHub believes that you get all the perks of high tea without breaking the bank, and the Instagram shots to show off your wonderful afternoon!

Cardinal Tea room

Affectionately known as “low-tea” and conveniently located on The Maine, enter through one of Montreal’s trendiest restaurants and make your way upstairs to the Cardinal Tea Room. With menu choices including savory and sweet, fill up and munch to your hearts delight on everything from curried deviled eggs, to shortbread cookies! Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as you sip on delicious teas and spend your afternoon munching on delicious snacks. FlightHub couldn’t get over how delicious their scones are, so make sure you leave some extra room for snacks!

The Mayfair

An unconventional tea room, The Mayfair’s surprise is the little spike they might put in your London Fog. As one of Montreal’s trendiest new bars and tea room, the posh British-inspired cocktail bar is a breath of fresh air to the more conventional tea rooms found in Montreal. Located in Plateau, the establishment is reminiscent of 19th century British decadence, accompanied by wonderfully delicious—and spiked—teas to fill your afternoon or 5 a 7 plans. FlightHub thinks this is the perfect alternative to traditional tea houses, and hopes you enjoy your time there as much as we did!
